Chris Jones writes
This photograph is of my grandfather and his crew of carpenters working on the Carnegie library at the corner of Green lane and Lister drive. This building opened in 1905 so it was probably 1904/5 when it was taken.
He lived locally, at Sutton St. He was born in 1860 and died in 1958. The photo' hung in his living room.
