All Hallows Church, Allerton, looking along Allerton Road. Requested by Joe Silcock, Canada. I lived in the Police houses as a kid. I went to Rose Lane school. I spent many hours in Calderstones Park. My Dad was a cop for 32years. There were seven kids when most of the families around the area had at most two or three kids, so we kind of stuck out like a sore thumb. On top of that we where the only R.C's. in the Police houses. A good reason why we spent a lot of time in the park or out of trouble around the Police station (on Dad's orders).
