Bold Street named after Jonas Bold, with St Lukes Church at the far end. Shops in this street were reputed to be of a higher standard than the rest of Liverpool.
Following the destruction of Blacklers store during the 2nd World War, numerious shops in Bold Street were used by Blacklers until their new store was built.
