The John Lennon Statue Computer enhanced: I have removed a notice from the side window. The fibreglass and bronze statue, located in Mathew Street opposite the original Cavern Club entrance, is posed to resemble John on the cover of his album 'Rock N Roll' 1975.

The doorway is formed in the 'Wall of Fame'; personalities of the Mersey scene of the 1960' are named on each brick in the wall.

Since this photograph was taken a different head has been fitted to the statue.
