The Philharmonic Hall, stands on the opposite corner to the Philharmonic pub and is about half way along Hope street, between the two cathedrals.
Recently refurbished the hall is used for regular concerts and is renowned for its fine acoustics which have been further enhanced during the refurbishment. It is the home of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Society. Built on the site of a former hall which burnt down in 1933. The original hall occupied the site from 1849.
The brick finish gives a moire effect in the computer display.
