Looking from St George's Hall into part of Lime street. It was to the front of the car park nearest the camera, where Codman's Punch & Judy was located. The show was later moved onto St George's plateau.

The buildings to the right hand of the photograph fronted the fish market, they have since been demolished to make way for a shopping centre and Hotel complex.
