A view looking from the top floor restaurant of Unity House towards St John's Lane across the tunnel entrance and the Old Haymarket. I remember taking this photograph during my dinner break from attending the 'Tech', as Liverpool College of Technology was known.

On the skyline can be seen the red sign on the square top of the Stork hotel.
