Princes Dock lies behind the main landing stage. The area has in recent times been developed with the building of a modern Hotel and other commercial buildings with a high rise residential development in progress.
The Albert Dock can just be seen in the distance, a view that was soon to be obscured by the building of the 'Three Graces'.
