The Georgian Abercrombie Square at the center of the University of Liverpool campus.
The Square falls within a Conservation Area and is some 10 minutes walk from the city centre. It commemorates General Sir Ralph Abercromby, (1734-1801), who was Commander of the British Army in Egypt.
