Central Hall Fazakerley built in 1888/9, was used as a chapel and school room for Fazakerley Cottage Homes.
Cottage homes was used to accommodate pauper children. Up to twenty five children were accommodated in houses sited around Central Hall.
The area also included an entrance lodge, receiving home, infirmary, workshops, and swimming baths.

Since 1965 the site became a home for children with learning difficulties and is used today by social services to provide day centre and training facilities.
