10 Marmaduke Street and Clare Terrace -
By this time Jno and Mary had their grandson, John Hernaman, living with them. John had been sent back to "civilised" Liverpool from the goldfields of Victoria, Australia, to be educated by his grandparents.

Louise adds further detail:- 1977 was the 150th anniversary of the appointment of James Newlands in Liverpool as the country's first Borough Enginer.
The anniversary was celebrated by the University with the unveiling of two plaques. One plaque is at 4 Clare Terrace, Marmaduke Street, Edge Lane.
The plaque can just be seen to the left of the first door from the right.
